Today local fisherman Billy Graham stopped Sarge’s Bait and Tackle to show this monster Crappie that he caught at his “Secret Fishing Spot”. I was unable to get an exact location from him but he did mention that he was using live shiners as his primary bait.

After we measured this 15 3/4 inch citation Crappie (Sarge’s is a Maryland Fishing Challenge Official Award Center), Billy mentioned that he had a whole stringer full of these fish out in his truck. And sure enough he did…

The fishing reports have been good all spring despite this bad weather, now that  the sun is out, we are glad to see people showing off their catch. Good day on the water for this guy, keep it up!
